May Update
Last weekend was more good times at the “Ho” (Second Wind Navajo). It was a small crowd on Friday, but we cut loose and had a blast. I guess everyone was resting up for Saturday as it was pretty packed all night. Our friends Leon and Mike were celebrating their birthday. Also Tony and Alli recently got engaged, so congratulations to you two kids. Spike from Children of the Grave made an appearance and played a couple of Black Sabbath songs on bass.
On 4/27/09 we competed in the Ultimate Music Challenge at Viejas. For a listing of the bands check out this page of our blog or www.ultimatemusicchallenge.com. We were fortunate enough to advance to the semi final round thanks to the great fan support. I never got the judges scores, but I have heard it was very close and fans probably were the deciding factor, so THANK YOU! | Other Info | The Ultimate Music Challenge is a Cover Band Contest held in the DreamCatcher at Viejas Casino. The competition will be held every Sunday night from April 19th through June 28th from 6pm-10pm. Up to five bands will perform each Sunday with the winning bands advancing to the Semifinals, then to the Championship on June 28th. First prize is $20,000! |
