May Update
Last weekend was more good times at the “Ho” (Second Wind Navajo). It was a small crowd on Friday, but we cut loose and had a blast. I guess everyone was resting up for Saturday as it was pretty packed all night. Our friends Leon and Mike were celebrating their birthday. Also Tony and Alli recently got engaged, so congratulations to you two kids. Spike from Children of the Grave made an appearance and played a couple of Black Sabbath songs on bass.
On 4/27/09 we competed in the Ultimate Music Challenge at Viejas. For a listing of the bands check out this page of our blog or www.ultimatemusicchallenge.com. We were fortunate enough to advance to the semi final round thanks to the great fan support. I never got the judges scores, but I have heard it was very close and fans probably were the deciding factor, so THANK YOU! Ultimate Music Challenge
On June 15th, 2008 Monsters of Rock performed at the Dreamcatcher Lounge at Viejas Casino for the Ultimate Music Challenge. I think the band is still in shock and awe at the response we got from the crowd and the reviews by the judges. We’re hoping you can join us at the semi final on July 20th.
