The Harp was cool in that it has open windows toward Newport Avenue. There’s pretty good night life down there with lots of bar hopping. The funky part is where the stage is located. It would be great if they centered the stage and had a house P.A. system. The owner and staff were really cool. They comped us many goodies!

Gavin acquired a new magic box for all of his effects. We’re hoping his amp will behave itself now. I got myself some new in ear monitors. Ron did a couple of shows with his side projects. You know singers, they like a lot of attention (whatever Ron!). Dave recently had his amp tuned up and is set to shake the walls once again. Sergio has been busy doing a videography of Sarah Palin on the campaign trail. He says she’s very "Mavericky".

Remember, Halloween is always best spent with Monsters.

On June 15th, 2008 Monsters of Rock performed at the Dreamcatcher Lounge at Viejas Casino for the Ultimate Music Challenge. I think the band is still in shock and awe at the response we got from the crowd and the reviews by the judges. We’re hoping you can join us at the semi final on July 20th. Thanks to everyone who came out to support us!
